Human Resources Assistant
LOCATION: In Office
TYPE: Temp-to-Hire (No fixed timeline, based on performance)
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, Business Hours
COMPENSATION: $18-$20 per hour
About the Role:
Are you a dynamic, outgoing individual eager to launch or grow your career in Human Resources? This is a fantastic entry-level, bilingual opportunity where you'll receive hands-on training in day-to-day HR functions with a Pathway toward developing into an HR Generalist role. Our client seeks a motivated professional to join their collaborative and fast-paced environment, supporting various administrative and HR functions while ensuring positive employee experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of daily HR and administrative activities, ensuring timely and organized operations.
- Assist with onboarding processes, including documentation management and employee orientation.
- Coordinate and provide support for internal employee events and recognition activities, including logistics and set-up (ability to lift 20-30 lbs required).
- Maintain and update employee records, databases, and files in compliance with company standards.
- Support the preparation of HR-related reports using Microsoft Office tools.
- Act as an energetic liaison, supporting the HR team in fostering an engaging and inclusive workplace culture.
Requirements:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
- Outgoing, approachable, and extroverted personality with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs for event and meeting set-up.
- HR coursework or prior administrative support experience is advantageous.
