Job Title: HR Assistant
Location: Iselin, NJ
Job Type: Contract (4-6 Months)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the HR department, including data entry, reporting, and file maintenance
- Manage and update HR records, spreadsheets, and databases using advanced Excel functions
- Perform VLOOKUPs and generate reports to assist with employee data analysis and HR metrics
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes
- Assist with benefits administration and other HR initiatives
- Coordinate meetings, maintain calendars, and handle HR-related inquiries
- Utilize HR systems such as SuccessFactors (if applicable) for employee recordkeeping and updates
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in an HR administrative or assistant role
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.)
- Experience with HRIS platforms; SuccessFactors experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
