Exciting Opportunity for an HR Recruiting Assistant.

CLA is on the lookout for a Temporary HR Recruiting Assistant to support the full-cycle recruiting process at a well-established law firm in Columbia, SC. This is your chance to become a key player in a dynamic HR team while gaining invaluable experience. This assignment is expected to last at least six (6) months.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Initial Phone Screenings: Conduct light phone interviews, ensuring that only the best candidates move forward in the process.
  • Scheduling Interviews: Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers-your organizational skills will be crucial here.
  • Administrative Support: Provide valuable administrative support to the HR team, including uploading and scanning documents into Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), creating new hire packets, and assisting with other HR tasks as needed.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with experienced recruiters to streamline the hiring process and ensure a smooth experience for candidates and hiring managers alike.

What We're Looking For:

  • Knowledge of Full-Cycle Recruiting: From screening resumes to scheduling interviews, you'll be involved in supporting the recruiters every step of the process-helping to connect top talent with this thriving law firm.
  • Prior experience in a human resources role is a big plus (1-2 years preferred).
  • Strong experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills-you'll be juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You'll need to be extremely organized with great attention to detail.
  • Team player mentality, ready to jump in and support where needed.
