Coventry (Onsite with Some Flexibility)

33,000- 35,000 + Benefits

Ready to build your HR career with a company that's transforming its culture and people strategy? Looking to evolve into a true Business Partner while keeping your hands on the full employee lifecycle?

This is an exceptional opportunity for a confident, curious, and committed HR Advisor to join a well-established, UK-based organisation in the midst of cultural and operational evolution.

You'll be stepping into a broad generalist HR role with real visibility, variety, and influence. From employee relations to recruitment, coaching managers to shaping onboarding and internal communications-you'll have a voice, a seat at the table, and the support to grow into a future HR Business Partner.

Why This Opportunity?

Work with an HR team committed to building trust, modernising practices, and championing a people-first mindset.

Be part of a company that is actively investing in its people strategy, values internal mobility, and promotes from within.

Be part of a visible and valued HR function, working primarily onsite at the Coventry head office-with potential for occasional hybrid flexibility (1 day from home) for focused project work. This is a role for someone who thrives in a face-to-face, operational environment.

Get exposure to live ER cases, engagement projects, and recruitment campaigns from day one.

Play a key role in shaping culture, coaching line managers, and improving the employee experience.

Your Role at a Glance

This position offers hands-on responsibility and breadth across the HR lifecycle. You'll report to a Senior HR Business Partner and serve as a trusted advisor to both corporate and operational managers.

Day-to-Day You'll:

Manage ER cases independently-handling absence, performance, disciplinary, grievance and wellbeing cases.

Coordinate and improve recruitment processes-from advertising and screening through to onboarding.

Coach line managers on people practices, policies, and decision-making.

Support internal communications-drafting briefings, engagement bulletins and policy updates.

Analyse HR metrics-including absence trends, recruitment performance, and staff turnover.

Review and enhance HR policies and workflows, with a mindset of continuous improvement.

Contribute to cultural change initiatives, including onboarding enhancements and employee engagement surveys.

CIPD Level 5 or working towards it

4-5 years' experience in a generalist HR role

Proven track record managing employee relations issues end-to-end

Experience in recruitment coordination or ownership

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Nice-to-Have:
