Payroll Administration:
- Process weekly, biweekly, and monthly payrolls within HR system.
- Ensure payroll data, earnings, deductions, and direct deposits are accurate and in compliance with federal and state laws and company pay policies.
- Coordinate with Finance for payroll funding, tax filings, and year-end processes (e.g., W-2s).
- Ensure all payroll related processes are documented and up to date.
Leave Administration:
- Administer leaves of absence (LOA), such as WC, FMLA, DBL, PFL, etc.
- Communicate leave statuses and updates with Supervisors and HR Team.
- Ensure LOA processes are documented, and policy is up to date.
Benefits Administration:
- Coordinate open enrollment processes.
- Administer health, welfare, and retirement plan enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Respond to employee questions related to medical, prescription, dental, life, disability, and 401k.
- Maintain accurate records of employee benefits elections and status changes.
- Reconcile benefit invoices for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and process for payment.
- Serve as the COBRA administrator for Conax.
Compliance:
- Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and information.
- Maintain employee records in accordance with legal requirements and company policies.
- Support audits (internal/external) by preparing and providing documentation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ACA, COBRA, EEOC, etc.).
- Prepare, approve, and distribute 1095 B/C forms, W2's, 401k plan notices, etc.
- Performs 401k NDT Testing
HRIS & Reporting
- Maintain and update HRIS systems with employee data, job changes, compensation, and status updates.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards for HR and leadership (turnover, headcount, diversity metrics, etc.)
- Assist in data collection for compliance filings (EEO-1, ACA, etc.).
- Responsible for resolving system issues.
General:
- Utilizes and creates documents in the Conax Technologies Wiki or HR Wiki when appropriate.

Salary ranges for this position is determined based on experience, reflecting our commitment to valuing the expertise and contributions of our individual teammates. The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $80,000.
