We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Human Resources Manager to join our team. As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR department, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with employment labor laws. This is a senior leadership role that requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
Duties:- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with company goals and applicable employment labor laws- Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions- Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires- Administer performance management programs, including conducting employee evaluations and providing feedback for improvement- Coordinate employee training and development initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge within the organization- Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations- Manage benefits administration, including enrollment, claims resolution, and communication with insurance providers- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in HR management to ensure compliance and effectiveness- Utilize HRIS systems (Dayforce, Paylocity, UltiPro) to maintain accurate employee records and generate reports as needed
Requirements:
- 4+ years of progressively responsible work experience with legal or other professional service organizations to gain the expertise needed to administer a professional HR system.- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; Master's degree preferred
-Prior law firm experience
-SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR or PHR a plus.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management or a related role- Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations- Proven experience in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring employees at various levels- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization- Demonstrated proficiency in HRIS systems (Dayforce, Paylocity, UltiPro)- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
