Human Resource Generalist

Onsite - Azusa, CA

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant field.

1-2 years previous experience in Human Resources and Payroll administration.

Detail oriented with strong organization skills.

Effective communication skills, oral and written.

Good knowledge in Excel and Word.

Ability to maintain confidential information.

Strong knowledge of employment labor laws.

Familiarity with leave laws including FMLA and Workers' Compensation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.

In charge of recruiting, interviewing and hiring new staff.

In charge of maintaining the Employee records and Payroll database.

Manages the Bi-weekly Payroll preparation, making sure the payroll data entered are accurate, and that all supervisor approved vacation/sick leave requests from employees are entered in the Jantek and Paychex payroll databases.

Manages the submission of the 401K remittances.

In charge of reporting the Monthly Workers Compensation.

In charge of submitting the WC Claim injury reports.

In charge of all payroll- related compliance reporting such as W-2s, Form 1095 and Form 5500.

In charge of benefits administration including review of monthly health insurance charges and corresponding payroll deductions.

Collaborate with the different managers to support various HR functions.
