Shift: This is a Full-Time position - Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm (some flexibility permitted).
Position Reports to: Director of Human Resources
Job Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly
Compensation: $22.235 - $27.261 per hour
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Organize and conduct orientation sessions for new employees.
- Responsible for the processing of bi-weekly payroll, to include assist supervisors and managers with timekeeping, and training managers upon hire or when needed.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating employee files and records, handle employee and manager inquiries related to regarding HR policies, benefits, trainings, or payroll.
- Create badges upon hire and when needed, and deactivate upon separation or when needed.
- Input personnel actions into ADP and Employee Navigator, and process change forms for all personnel actions to include: new hire processing, transfers, any other employment changes.
- Maintain and send out the following reports to Directors and/or Management: staff credentialing list, per diem list, drivers list. Send trainings due report to Director of HR.
- Process driving requests and ensure those on the approved list maintain driving capability, to include: pulling abstracts and sending to the insurance company for approval, and notifying the supervisor.
- Act as a witness when needed by the Director of HR for employee matters, to include investigations and terminations.
- Assist with the Events Committee, to include planning and coordinating staff events.
- Assists with collecting information and documentation for HR and Finance audits.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of Associate's degree in Business or related field preferred.
- A high level of confidentiality is required, and the ability to handle sensitive HR related matters.
- Experience with payroll, and basic HR processes and databases preferred, administrative and communicative skills required, ability to manage multiple projects with sound business judgment required, effective research and problem-solving skills required, Microsoft Word and Excel skills required.
