Mooseheart Child City and School, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Human Resource Assistant to support our HR operations and help foster a positive, professional environment for our staff and community. Key Responsibilities: - Provide courteous, responsive customer service to staff, applicants, and visitors
- Serve as the front desk receptionist for the HR department-greeting guests and answering phones
- Maintain organized HR records and filing systems
- Assist with onboarding, including collecting pre-employment documentation
- Coordinate interviews, campus visits, and special events
- Support the HR team with employee data entry and management in the HRIS system
- Ensure timely communication of HR-related information across departments
- Assist in preparing and maintaining compliance-related documents (e.g., 508-1 forms, DCFS driver list)
- Verify past employment according to company and legal guidelines
- Process confidential mail and interoffice correspondence
- Participate in professional development and training as required
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee, youth, and organizational information
Qualifications: - Prior experience in an administrative or HR support role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus
- Willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative HR team
Must pass a required background and Psychological Evaluation.
