Job Title: HR Total Rewards and Operations Specialist

Position Overview

Cox Media Group is searching for an HR Total Rewards and Operations Specialist. This position will play a key role in the administration of various HR functions, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with company policies and regulations. This position requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail, along with a passion for supporting employees. This is a hybrid role based in Atlanta, GA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the compensation analyses such as minimum wage studies, Fair Labor Standards act audits, pay equity reviews and ad-hoc requests.
  • Assist the administration of CMG's benefits programs.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring the completion of necessary paperwork, compliance requirements, and training.
  • Oversee the administration of unemployment claims by a third-party vendor, ensuring timely responses and accurate documentation. Collaborate with relevant departments to gather necessary information for claims processing.
  • Support the process for employee leaves of absence in partnership with the third-party vendor to ensure a streamlined employee experience, accurate payroll, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Support the processing of Workers' Compensation claims to ensure the procedures are handled efficiently, and accurately.
  • Work with the HR Operation Teams by:
    • Responding to inquiries through the ticketing system, providing timely and accurate information and fulfilling requests to enhance employee satisfaction and resolve issues efficiently.
    • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records in SAP SuccessFactors. Input and update information regarding new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.
    • Manage the employment agreement creation and process.
    • Collaborating with external auditors during HR audits by providing necessary documentation, responding to inquiries, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures to facilitate a smooth audit process.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in HR operations or a related role.
  • Strong proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, maintain productivity and effectiveness in a fast-changing environment with sometimes competing priorities.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to converse with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to handle sensitive data and maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all situations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
