About the Role:
We're looking for an HR and Payroll Systems Analyst to join our People team on a temp-to-hire basis and play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient HR and payroll processes. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in the details, enjoys improving systems and workflows, and has a solid foundation across core HR functions. What You'll Do:
- Manage core HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, compliance, and employee relations support
- Process end-to-end payroll with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness
- Reconcile payroll data, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Maintain and administer HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, UKG), including data entry, auditing, and report generation
- Generate HR metrics and dashboards to support business decision-making
- Partner on systems implementation projects and contribute to process improvements across the employee lifecycle
- Support benefits administration, open enrollment, and compensation review processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, and IT to drive data integrity and operational excellence
What We're Looking For:
- 3-5+ years of experience in an HR generalist or HR operations role
- Hands-on experience running payroll, ideally end-to-end, with deep attention to detail
- Familiarity with payroll platforms like ADP, UKG, or similar systems
- Strong experience managing and optimizing HRIS tools
- Solid understanding of HR compliance, employee relations, and onboarding/offboarding best practices
- Comfort working in Excel and building reports/dashboards
- Experience or interest in compensation, benefits, and open enrollment support is a plus
- A proactive, collaborative mindset-someone who enjoys partnering across teams and improving how things work
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive employee data
