Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our clients facility services company in San Jose, CA. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all HR functions within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company's goals and foster a positive work environment. The HR Manager will lead a growing HR team, ensuring the team operates efficiently, meets the needs of the business, and provides exceptional service to all employees. The HR Manager plays a critical role in supporting the organization's growth and success by driving initiatives related to talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance



Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrator of the Paycom HRIS, managing all aspects of the system.
  • Lead the HR team and maintain cross-functional communication with other departments.
  • Conduct departmental outreach with essential departments and functions to align HR strategies.
  • Evaluate and oversee the administration of benefit programs, recommending improvements where necessary.
  • Direct the administration of various benefit programs, including health, vacation, disability, and unemployment.
  • Implement and continue to improve the company's strategic recruitment, selection, and hiring plan.
  • Oversee compensation programs to ensure regulatory compliance and competitive salary levels.
  • Investigate, resolve, and coordinate grievances, workplace disputes, and ethics violations.
  • Evaluate procedures and technology solutions to improve HR data management and processes.
  • Champion company culture and enforce team spirit and a collaborative work environment.
  • Engage in the company's social media efforts to promote services and recruit talent.
  • Oversee and maintain ongoing HR team development and company policies, including core values and ethics policies.
  • Establish and implement HR department's goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all HR-related local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines.
  • Oversee employee relations and performance management.
  • Support a large multi-site workforce effectively.
  • Attend company events to serve as a role model of company values and strengthen company culture.
  • Develop and manage organizational development plans and management training programs.
  • Collaborate with other departments in planning company and employee events.
  • Systemize employee record documentation and maintain employee files.
  • Partner with managers to ensure effective and timely transfer of information to support HR and operational needs.



Requirements

10+ years of HR experience, 10 years in a leadership position

Understanding Paycom at an administrator level (or similar HRIS

Quick learner and technically capable; ability to use technology to upgrade current processes, speed up transactions and minimize redundancy

Strong project management capability including written and verbal communication

Comfortable with ambiguity and constant change, able to methodically work through complex problems, set priorities and execute commitments while demonstrating can-do attitude

Has a passion for creating healthy organizations, and helping drive a strong and winning culture

BA/BS degree

Demonstrate ability to effectively lead a staff of direct reports in a dynamic work environment

Monday to Friday



Benefits

Salary range: $138,000-$180,000
