Client Details

A leading manufacturer with multiple locations across the US is seeking a hands-on and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead all HR functions at its Chino Valley facility.

Description


  • Serve as the onsite HR leader, supporting a diverse workforce across hourly, salaried, and skilled trade roles

  • Partner with site leadership on workforce planning, employee relations, engagement, and retention strategies

  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and orientation for new hires

  • Lead performance management and coaching efforts, including annual reviews and progressive discipline

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and safety regulations (EEO, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, etc.)

  • Administer benefits, leave programs, and workers' compensation in partnership with corporate HR

  • Support ongoing employee development through training initiatives and career pathing

  • Maintain accurate employee records, policies, and HRIS data (experience with UKG or ADP preferred)

  • Foster a strong safety culture and promote a respectful, inclusive workplace environment


Profile


  • 5-8+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or operations-driven environment

  • Strong working knowledge of Arizona labor law and HR compliance practices

  • Experience supporting hourly workforce populations in high-volume settings

  • Demonstrated success in employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution

  • Strong communication, leadership, and influence skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate with a high degree of professionalism

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required; PHR/SPHR certification a plus
