LHH is recruiting a seasoned HR Generalist to join our client's team and manage diverse HR functions, encompassing recruitment, employee relations, benefit administration, payroll, and compliance. The candidate should have a solid foundation in HR, exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, and the ability to adjust to our organization's evolving growth and needs. As an HR Generalist, this role will be pivotal in cultivating a diverse and positive work environment and guaranteeing the effective implementation of our company's HR policies and procedures and collaborating with the corporate headquarters that is overseas. The HR Generalist will report to the Human Resources Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Human Resources Manager to administer various employee benefits programs. Such
as group health insurance, flexible spending accounts, dental insurance, vision insurance, accident
and disability. lite insurance. 401(K), and wellness benefits. - Correspond with benefit provider in a timely manner to ensure the accuracy Ot eligibility, entries and
enrollment information. Communicate updates with carriers and process lite status changes. - Assist employees with benefits claim issues and plan changes.
- Assist with annual open enrollment process. Distribute benefits enrollment materials based on eligibility.
- Administer employee compensation programs, ensuring that Salaries tor roles remain competitive
with industry standards.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment process for all roles.
- Compose Official Offer letters.
- Effectively partner with the HR Manager and Leadership Team on the staffing process to ensure talent needs and diversity considerations are fulfilled.
- Conducts background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Assist with processing to employment onboarding and offboarding.
- Collaborate with HR Manager and department leaders to understand job-specific qualifications, certifications, and skills required for all roles.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Collaborate with HR Manager on overall People strategies that support the culture, company direction, and the growth needs of the business.
- Partner with HR Manager to coordinate, plan and facilitate health, fitness and wellness initiatives aimed at boosting morale for employees.
- Serves as first point of contact for employees regarding policies and workplace issues.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Assist with outside attorney on immigration filings for various types of visas.
- Understands Federal and state laws and protects company's interests by ensuring legal requirements for equal employment and compliance are met.
- Responds to written requests for verification of employment (VOE's), unemployment claims, and other such requests.
- Maintains accurate employee records and certifications to meet industry-specific standards (e.g., ISO certifications).
- Support Performance Review and Succession Planning process.
- Coordinate the Performance process for all employees, providing support to the HR Manager.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by assisting with internal workshops, training sessions and processional development tailored to staff.
- Maintains and updates job descriptions.
- Travel and expense coordination of candidates and new hires.
- Schedule and support management staff meetings as needed.
- Communicate updates and changes in HR policies to staff, ensuring understanding and adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
- Identifies and assists in implementing improvements to HR processes to enhance efficiency and
- accuracy of services provided.
- Responsible for accurately processing and administering semi - monthly payroll for hourly and salary employees, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Work closely with the payroll vendor to process payroll and ensure accurate deductions for benefits and other employee contributions.
- Maintain HRIS, prepare and submit regular reports, performance dashboard and reporting, and keep organizational chart updated.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws.
- Knowledge of payroll systems (Paycor, ADP)

- employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to either influence or support a project or initiative.
- Organizational and interpersonal skills with a strategic logical approach.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
Education and/or Experience:
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in a Human Resources role.
- Preferred 5-7 years of related experience in influencing management.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships with both technical and management.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-5PM, Fully On-Site
