HR Generalist

A media agency in NYC is seeking to hire an HR Generalist to join their growing team on a contract basis.

About the Opportunity:

Hours: 9am to 5:30pm or 9am to 6pm
Setting: Hybrid (3 days in the office; 2 days remote)

Responsibilities:

Assist with smoothly onboarding new hires (f/t, contractors, payroll)
Assist with the recruitment and hiring process
Process time sensitive life cycle changes
Assist with the administration of the annual merit cycle and ongoing compensation needs
Assist with the management and execution of employee activities
Manage the process of transitioning exiting employees
Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience as an HR Generalist
Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
Thorough understanding of HR practices and processes
Microsoft Office proficient
