We are currently looking for a Full Time HR Generalist to join our Human Resources Commerce Unit 3 team located at Treasure Valley Casino, working 8:00AM-7:00PM - Mo Tu We Th / Th Fr Sa Su.
Summary:
The HR Generalist functions as an internal strategic business partner and consultant to help build organizational capability to meet financial and strategic goals through effective HRM. This position will communicate with multiple levels of management, write/analyze and interpret data from various sources to solve problems that require an intermediate level of knowledge in the human resource field, and make decisions where procedures are available, exercising application of judgment and independent action. The HR Generalist also serves as the champion of the organizational financial success and employee satisfaction. Ensures that company HR programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and culture values.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate the staffing process: recruiting, transfer/promotions, and terminations
Assist managers and/or supervisors identifying staffing needs and recruitment
Identify resources needed to recruit qualified staff
Screen and interview applicants
Recommend qualified applicants to hiring managers
Assists employees with Employment Center questions as needed
Serve as advisor to manage regarding policy and compliance issues/performance management
Assist leadership with organizational development goals
Assist HR Director with employee relation issues and investigations
Assist with termination process for all staff including consulting with management regarding termination decisions, conducting exit interviews
Create and maintain weekly and monthly employment reports
Assist other generalist and specialist in department with information needed
Recruit and assist with on-line employment applications, performance management and improvement systems and org development
Participate in and assist with Joint Commission compliance preparation, procedures, reporting and provided related documentation
Assist with policy review and development
Support compliance needs to regulatory agencies and provide reporting and related documentation
Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types
Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner

Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
