Human Resources Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily HR operations, including employee relations, morale initiatives, disciplinary actions, payroll updates, and terminations

  • Manage benefits administration, I-9 verification, workers' compensation, and FMLA coordination

  • Ensure compliance with Department of Health regulations

  • Support recruitment efforts by identifying staffing needs, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and conducting interviews

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year HR experience, preferably in healthcare or skilled nursing

  • Familiarity with union environments is a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle sensitive matters with professionalism
