We're seeking an experienced HR Benefits Specialist with a strong background in payroll administration to join an HR team in Grand Rapids. This role requires someone who can handle end-to-end payroll processes while also managing benefits administration, employee inquiries, and compliance-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time
  • Manage benefits enrollment, open enrollment, and ongoing employee benefits support
  • Ensure payroll compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Maintain accurate payroll and benefits records
  • Partner with HR and Finance teams to reconcile payroll and benefits reports
  • Provide excellent service to employees regarding payroll and benefits questions
  • Assist with audits and year-end reporting (W-2s, ACA compliance, etc.)
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in HR and payroll administration
  • Experience with payroll software (ADP, Paycom, Paylocity, or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of benefits programs (health, dental, vision, 401(k), etc.)
  • Familiarity with federal and state payroll/benefits regulations
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred

Pay Details: $22.00 to $28.00 per hour
