Position Summary
The Temporary HR Administrator will provide administrative, clerical, and technical support to the HR
department, partnering closely with Operations, Human Resources, and Payroll to ensure the smooth
execution of HR activities. This role will be a key resource for record-keeping, employee dispatch
processes, and communication between employees, supervisors, and HR.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
(This list is not exhaustive but represents key duties.)
• HRIS System (UKG) Support - Manage case entries, employee status updates, and document
uploads.
• SharePoint Auditing & Support - Maintain and organize HR records.
• HR Policy Support - Assist in drafting, proofreading, and fact-checking HR policies.
• Employment Verifications & Student Loan Forgiveness - Process employee verification requests.
• Employee Change Process - Handle personnel status forms (PSFs) and documentation uploads.
• Survey Management - Send reminders, schedule invites, and provide administrative support.
• Timekeeping & Payroll Assistance - Support employees with Kronos system usage, troubleshoot
timecard issues, and assist with payroll inquiries.
• Scheduling & Calendar Management - Coordinate interviews, meetings, and training sessions.
• File Management - Organize and maintain both digital and paper HR files.
• New Employee Onboarding - Facilitate first-day activities, document collection, and safety
orientation.
• Union Dispatch & Staffing Support - Process staffing requests, coordinate with unions, and track
hiring efforts.
• HR Inbox & Employee Inquiries - Act as the first point of contact for HR-related questions.
• Audit Support - Compile and submit required audit materials.
• Invoice Processing - Track and process invoices.
• Office & Meeting Support - Order catering, schedule large meetings, and assist with consultant
coordination.
• HR Office Support - Note-taking, file organization, reporting, and other assigned tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with HRIS systems (UKG, Kronos preferred) or ability to learn quickly.
• Familiarity with SharePoint for document organization.
• Experience with or willingness to learn.
Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
