Job Description
  • Lead all HR functions as a strategic partner, reporting directly to the President.
  • Manage full-cycle talent acquisition, including recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation.
  • Drive employee relations efforts, managing employee concerns, performance issues, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Support change management initiatives and foster a culture of open communication and engagement.
  • Oversee compliance with employment laws and company policies, ensuring alignment with best practices.
  • Administer benefits, 401(k), compensation tracking, and workers' compensation while collaborating on strategic decisions.
  • Implement DEI initiatives and drive employee engagement programs.
  • Manage payroll processes, including reviewing labor hours and reporting.
  • Maintain office management duties, including IT coordination and general administration.
  • Stay current on HR trends and implement innovative HR practices.

The Successful Applicant
  • 7+ years of HR experience with a proven track record in HR leadership roles.
  • Experience in construction, development, or a related industry preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems, including ADP and RAKEN, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of labor relations and union environments a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work onsite five days a week, with flexibility to WFH every other Friday.
