The HR Administrator - Contingent Workers will report to the International HR Director and work closely with the others in Human Resources as well as with Financial Controls and Information Technology. They will be responsible for the management of the Contingent Worker population at Starr.

Roles and Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Starr employees to explain the CW process and answer any questions through maintaining the general email inbox.
  • Update documents and postings as necessary and ensure proper processes are being followed.
  • Work closely with Payroll team and the committee to process new and replacement CWs within Starr.
  • Proactively manage upcoming terminations of CW alongside IT Security and Governance to ensure Starr data and systems are being protected as projects end and contracts expire.
  • Take necessary action if contracts will need to be extended.
  • Maintain proper document and filing procedures within the HRIS system.
  • Produce monthly addition and termination reports, and other reports as needs arise, to manage our CW population.
  • Investigate any missing information on CWs to gather all data required.
  • Other responsibilities that may arise with the continued management of the CW population.
Job Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in administrative or clerical role
  • Track record of working with senior and executive stakeholders
  • Analytical background
  • Business relationship building skills and capabilities
  • Strong communication & organizational skills, high attention to detail
  • Experience with Workday - specifically in reporting functionality
  • Global mindset with ability to work with people from varying cultures
  • Understanding of business contracts would be a plus

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Starr Insurance Companies is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets: experience and training: licensure and certifications: and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $76,000-$101,000.
