Job Summary
The Human Resources Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the HR department by managing various administrative functions and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. This position is responsible for facilitating effective employee relations, engagement, and maintaining accurate HR records. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.

Job Title: Human Resources Admin/Employee Engagement

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: Human Resources Manager

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Recruiting:

• Create and maintain Job Postings

• Screen Resumes

• Conduct Phone Screens

• Order Background/Drug Screens

• Perform New Hire Orientation

• Input all new hire information in HRIS

• I-9 Compliance; Re-verification

Benefits:

• Maintain Newly Eligible Employee Reports

• Process Enrollments

• Set up Employee Deductions

Employee Engagement:

• Plan and facilitate Employee Events and Recognition

• Conduct Employee Surveys

• Design internal communications for Employee Digital Bulletin Board

Human Resources:

• Handle incoming calls, emails and requests from Employees and Managers.

• Prepare and send Personnel Reports to Department Heads/Regional Managers

• Maintain Employee Personnel Files

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma and 1 year of office administration experience required. Human Resources experience preferred.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups. Bilingual Spanish required.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Database software; Internet software; Paycom Payroll systems; MS Excel Spreadsheet software and MS Word Processing software.
