JOB SUMMARY:

The Human Resource Administrator will be responsible for the recruiting and onboarding of employees, assisting with New Hire Orientation, maintaining the organization of employee documentation, while assisting the HR team with other administrative tasks. This position works closely with the Director of HR and other HR team members. A general understanding of basic HR practices is require.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
  • Recruits and facilitates the interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of qualified job applicants for all open Operations positions.
  • Assists the HR Generalist in maintaining an accurate headcount for all operations departments and adheres to these figures during the recruitment process.
  • Acquires background checks, drug screens, and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Assists the Training & Development Specialist with the preparation for and implementation of new hire orientation and helps support employee recognition programs and LMS training.
  • Assist with running reports for the Training and Development Specialist and following up with Managers regarding overdue training requirements in their departments.
  • Takes ownership of maintaining organization of employee documentation, including scanning employee and orientation documentation by Uploading training documents to our HRIS.
  • Organizing and assigning Monday tasks to the HR Team and assigning job training to employees per the HR Training Matrix.
  • Initiates and audits workflows for HR actions and Job Descriptions for new hires, as well as auditing onboarding of New Hires. This includes following up with Supervisors and Managers to ensure completed documentation.
  • Facilitates scheduling Operations Tours for New Hires on first day of employment, after orientation.
  • Helps maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices in partnership with the HR Director with respect to recruiting, interviewing, onboarding and training.
  • Provide support in other areas of HR.

Requirements

REQUIRES SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail; experience with data entry and auditing required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems. Experience with Paylocity is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bilingual (Spanish) Preferre
  • At least 1 year of human resource experience preferred.
  • Prior experience with a fast-growing company and recruiting experience preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at our facility.
RELATIONSHIPS:In performing the above responsibilities, the HR Administrator maintains the following relationships:
  • The incumbent is accountable to the Director of HR for interpreting and fulfilling the above responsibilities and others, which may be assigned.
