Human Resource (HR) Administrator I to join the Human Resources team. The HR Administrator I will be a key member of the HR service delivery team in coordination and support of HR functions and programs, continuous process improvement, data collection and reporting, coordination and monitoring of administrative systems. This is an exciting opportunity to make a large, direct impact within WTD as the HR team innovates and implements changes to support the rapidly growing division. Job DutiesWhat You Will Be Doing: - Participate in the development, coordinationand support of programs or projects for WTD HR unit.
- Serve as WTD-HR internal/external SharePoint Site Administrator, including identifying improvements and updates.
- Oversee and monitor administrative systems such as records management, shared inbox and calendars and Laserfiche system for WTD HR (assist in input as needed).
- Support Employee and Labor Relations staff to gather information, support investigations, assist with timelines and document review and distribution as needed. Takes interview notes and edit reports.
- Support distribution, tracking, documentation, and approval needs for leaves and medical issues.
- Back-up to Executive Secretary/Asst I for Division Director.
- Assist in HR communication, coordinate and document staff meetings and activities, represent HR on Administrator meetings and issues.
- Coordinate and assist with HR processes such as Org chart upkeep, Executive Leaves, Performance Appraisal tracking, coordinating BT cashouts, budgeting and tracking P Card transactions.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating and Approval Procedures for WTD HR functions related to employee and labor relations, leaves, and compensation.
- Support HR team for tasks such as travel planning and approvals, RFP and procurement, registrations and purchasing, training support.
- Support data tracking, metrics and analysis through spreadsheets, queries, dashboards.
Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, SkillsQualifications You Bring: - Increasingly responsible administrative support experience with at least 3 years performing administrative work, or the equivalent in supporting project or program delivery or an equivalent combination of experience and education which demonstrates the desired skills, knowledge or ability required to perform the work.
- Demonstrated experience in effectively managing documents through enterprise level records management systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Oracle EBS, Concur Travel systems, PeopleSoft, Content Manager Records, Laserfiche, Visio or equivalent systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail while also having the ability to recognize the macro level.
- Ability to accomplish work assignments with minimal assistance required and to meet deadlines.
- Skilled in comparing records and data for accuracy as well as researching/reconciling errors and discrepancies.
- Experience planning and creating tools and documentation such as SOPs, flowcharts, Trello boards.
- Organizational and project management skills.

Supplemental Information Working Conditions:
- Remote and Onsite Work Details: Employees in this role work remotely from a home location, with onsite reporting requirements typically 3-6 days monthly. The frequency of onsite work is determined by business needs and may be adjusted accordingly. Onsite reporting locations may be at various King County worksites including the collaboration space at King Street Center (201 S. Jackson St, Seattle, WA 98104) and treatment plant facilities. This work arrangement promotes work-life-balance and reduces carbon footprint under the department's vision of Green Where We Work.
- Requirement: Employees must reside in Washington State and be within a reasonable distance to King County worksites to meet onsite reporting requirements.
- Work Schedule: This full-time position works a 40-hour work week. This position is covered under the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is overtime eligible.
