Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Home2/TRU in Grove City. The successful candidate will assist the Executive Housekeeper with overseeing the cleaning of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring that the hotel's cleanliness meets company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Open and close the housekeeping department and prepare room assignment reports.

  • Manage and supervise all employees within the department.

  • Foster positive relationships and teamwork across all hotel departments.

  • Collect room assignment reports and keys, ensuring floor security.

  • Ensure staff have necessary tools and maintain communication with the Maintenance department.

  • Enforce safety standards across rooms and public areas.

  • Conduct daily room checks and supervise linen closet supplies.

  • Record lost and found items and coordinate follow-up for guest satisfaction.

  • Maintain department cleaning logs and adhere to flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays.

  • Interact with employees and guests in a professional, service-oriented manner.

  • Comply with hotel and brand standards for guest and employee safety.

  • Report maintenance and safety issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications
  • Reliable and timely attendance.

  • Strong time management and communication skills.

  • Minimum two years of supervisory experience in housekeeping or a related field.

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Proficient in English and basic PC knowledge.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to move, lift, or push 50 pounds frequently.

  • Requires standing, walking, or bending for the majority of the shift.

Work Environment
  • Team-oriented atmosphere.

  • Supervised work environment with feedback and coaching.

  • Professional appearance with required uniforms and name tags.
