This position is in Ada, Michigan, and typical hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

What You'll Do
As a Housekeeper, you will work closely with the Lead Housekeeper to ensure the residences are kept in pristine condition. Your daily duties will include cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and other living areas, filling and emptying the dishwasher, taking out the trash, dusting, vacuuming, and organizing décor items. You will assist in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of family rooms, recreation areas, and storage spaces, ensuring surfaces and floors are spotless. Your role will also involve conducting beginning and end-of-day procedures to ensure personal belongings are stored properly and the residence remains tidy.

In addition to routine cleaning, you will perform deep cleaning tasks such as organizing cupboards, closet cleanouts, and washing interior windows. You will also assist with project cleaning, including floor and surface scrubbing and carpet/upholstery cleaning. Laundry duties will involve gathering, washing, drying, and returning clothing and household items to their appropriate storage areas, while adhering to care instructions and maintaining the laundry area.

You will monitor and maintain inventory levels of household cleaning supplies and personal products, ensuring the residence is always ready for entertainment or special events. Running errands, greeting vendors and guests, and performing special projects as assigned by the Properties Manager will also be part of your responsibilities. Open communication with other household staff and proactive teamwork are essential to ensure the efficient operation of the homes.

What You'll Bring
To excel in this role, you should have previous housekeeping or house cleaning experience, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through in your daily routines. Preserving a quiet and peaceful household atmosphere is essential, requiring flexibility to clean around the family's activities with sensitivity to their privacy. The employer will provide all necessary equipment and cleaning products, with guidance available from the Lead Housekeeper as needed.

Physical Demands

• Ability to life thirty (30) pounds to a maximum height of six (6) feet.
• Ability to climb steps and stairs, bend, kneel, and remain standing on feet and kneeling on hands and knees for lengthy periods.
• Ability to work at a physically demanding pace.
• Ability to stand on small step stool to accomplish cleaning tasks.
