The primary purpose of this position is to clean and sanitize the residential living areas in alignment with safety and sanitation regulations . This position is responsible for cleaning all bathrooms, toilets, floors and assisting with some laundry tasks. This position will sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and sanitize, all surfaces in the home. Position ensures that clean linen is in place and always available for use Position ensures spills are cleaned up as they occur, and that floors are free of any debris. This position must use cleaning supplies according to instructions and keep them properly stored. Position must also always handle dirty linens according to safety standards. Position must report problems with safety in the home immediately to their supervisor. The position is required to follow a checklist and meet standards of sanitation and active treatment as set by the administration, Nursing Facility regulations and other regulatory agencies. The normal working hours of this position is Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm, 40 hours per week with alternating weekends and holidays; however, flexibility is required, depending on facility needs. Basic knowledge of established cleaning procedures and techniques. Basic knowledge of purpose and application of products and equipment used in a cleaning operation. Basic knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. Ability to understand and follow directions. Ability to read, write, follow oral and written instructions Ability to arrange items and/or actions in certain orders or patterns according to specific rules or sets of rules (i.e. patterns of numbers, letters, pictures and materials).
