Role Description

We're looking for a House Manager in Austin, TX, who isn't afraid to jump in, take initiative, and keep a household running smoothly. This part-time role (with potential to grow into full-time) is perfect for a hands-on doer who thrives on efficiency, multi-tasking, and proactive problem-solving.

You'll handle a variety of household responsibilities, from meal prep and laundry to keeping things organized and running efficiently. This role is about more than just checking off tasks-it's about anticipating needs, creating structure, and bringing a sense of calm to a busy household.


Responsibilities

(Tailored specifically to customer needs, but can include:)

  • Take ownership of household tasks with a proactive, get-it-done attitude
  • Manage family calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate activities
  • Plan ahead for holidays, special occasions, and family events to ensure smooth execution
  • Meal prep and light cooking to keep the family well-fed with healthy options
  • Tackle laundry, tidying, and organization to keep things running smoothly
  • Handle occasional errands and other household responsibilities as needed
  • Identify and solve problems before they arise-keeping the household on track
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with family members to understand and meet their needs

Qualifications
  • A natural doer-someone who takes initiative, figures things out, and solution-oriented
  • Exceptional multitasking and time management skills-able to juggle tasks efficiently
  • Strong communication skills-able to anticipate needs and adapt as things change
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Experience in household management, administrative support, or personal assistance similar is a plus
  • Comfortable with meal prep and basic cooking skills
  • Must be reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or experience are a bonus
