Sushi Cook Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Prepare and present a variety of sushi and sashimi dishes according to traditional Japanese techniques and our restaurant's recipes.
Select high-quality fish and ingredients, ensuring freshness and safety.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station, adhering to applicable health and safety policies.
Collaborate with kitchen staff.
Provide excellent customer service, including interacting with guests and taking special requests. Sushi Cook Qualifications:
Experience with sushi, or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of sushi and sashimi preparation, knife skills, and food safety practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Creativity and attention to detail in food presentation.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
