Responsibilities
• Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests
• Plan and organize work schedules, file important documents, and communicate with stakeholders and hotel departments about sales-related information
• Recognize opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding guest satisfaction for the hotel group
• Perform an initial pitch to a list of business and referral prospects based on your research and networking
• Prepare sales presentations and support materials for prospective customers, such as suitable event space, dining and catering services, hotel bookings, and access to relevant facilities
Qualifications
• Stays organized and manage time well
• Proven track record of sales success
• High school diploma or GED, and bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred
• Prior experience working in the hospitality sector is required
• Exhibits superior communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
