Summary of Job Description

As the Hotel Revenue Analyst, you will provide direction to property teams to identify and capitalize on potential revenue opportunities. Your role involves supporting the team daily in achieving both long-term and short-term goals through accurate forecasting, system reporting, and analytical tools. You play a crucial part in maximizing the hotel's total revenue and profitability by delivering data-driven insights and strategic recommendations. Your expertise ensures effective decision-making and optimizes financial performance, contributing significantly to the hotel's success.

Experience
  • Minimum of at least 2-4 years of progressive experience in customer service in hotel Guest Services or Reservations.
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred with some management experience.
  • Experience in Marriott and hotel property management systems and Excel required.
Work Hours
  • Hotel is hybrid/remote. Must be local to Irvine, CA or Denver, CO.
  • Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs.
  • Scheduling includes holidays, nights, overnights, and weekends depending on hotel events and functions.
Job Requirements
  • Understand the mission, vision, and goals of the hotel.
  • Must be able to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision.
  • Requires effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must possess basic computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to handle cash and balance cash drawer required.
  • Strong team player, able to partner with management and other employees in a professional manner.
The hourly rate for this position is $30.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assists with accurate preparation and analysis of all Revenue Management related reports. This includes market segmentation, production, source contribution, daily pick-up, and pace summaries.
  • Conduct regular audits of the OTA's content.
  • Record all decisions from the weekly revenue management meetings and manage follow-up.
  • Assist in all required rate loading and ensure all GDS information remains accurate and up to date.
  • Assists in ensuring parity across all distribution channels (OTA's, GDS, IDS and Call Center)
  • Provides recommendations to improve effectiveness of the revenue management process.
  • Attend mandatory meetings including divisional meetings, staff meetings, etc.
  • Ideal candidate would also possess intermediate to advance knowledge of key sales and revenue systems (Lightspeed, CI, Marriott Systems, and other revenue management/sales related systems)
  • Possesses the ability to manage IT tickets, build rate codes, and produce + validate reports.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the Ownership, Hotels or Corporate Offices
  • Complete all relevant tasks as assigned by the Revenue Director or hotel leadership team.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Analyze and review monthly and weekly STR Report results understanding gains or losses of RevPAR Index and applying this knowledge to impact and predict future results and further help develop proactive strategies to gain share against the competition.
  • Contribute to daily weekly and monthly 30-60-90 day forecast and annual budget processes.
  • Monitor the status of the hotel throughout the day.
  • Adjust any inventory controls that need to be modified through the applicable Revenue System(s) and communicate to the strategy team.
  • Carries out supervisor requests in accordance with hotel policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Follow 4 Keys service standards, standard operation procedures, and safety standards.
  • Follow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve all standards of operations.
  • Follow safety and security procedures.
  • Work cohesively with co-workers and all departments as part of a team.
