Lindbergh Bay Hotel & Villas seeks a highly experienced Hotel Operations Manager for a short-term assignment focused on stabilizing and relaunching Rooms operations. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in Front Desk and Housekeeping, Caribbean experience, and immediate readiness to lead.
This is a mission-critical role for the property in recovery mode, perfect for a leader who thrives under pressure and can deliver measurable impact in 3-6 months. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct immediate audit of hotel service delivery, physical condition, and operational controls
- Oversee Housekeeping and Front Desk departments to restore daily discipline and service standards
- Establish and monitor labor schedules, payroll, and department productivity
- Reinforce financial controls: purchasing, petty cash handling, and inventory systems
- Mentor department heads and staff while creating momentum around daily accountability
- Deliver short-term operational wins aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs)
Preferred Experience and Skills: - Minimum 3 years in Rooms Division leadership
- Prior Caribbean or remote island hospitality experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with: Roomkey PMS, Amadeus TravelClick/iHotelier, major OTAs, and Sage Intacct
- Proven track record in turnaround environments or task force assignments
- Available immediately; ease of relocation to U.S. Virgin Islands
Compensation: - $4,000-$5,400/month depending on experience
- Bonus opportunity based on KPI delivery
