Hocking Hills Lodge and Conference Center located inside Hocking Hills State Park is seeking candidates with outgoing, friendly personalities for a
Night Auditor/3rd Shift Front Desk Agent position. Can be full-time or part-time depending on your availability.
This is a 3rd shift position that will work 11pm -7am. This is an overnight shift that acts as the main point of contact for guests throughout the night. Responsibilities also include running end of day reports, balancing cash, credit cards, tips and other various venues depending on the season. The ideal candidate will be reliable, punctual, and have a drive to provide excellent customer service.

To begin, Night Auditors will be responsible for check-in/check-out of the current 40 cabins on the property along with making reservations for the brand new lodge. Night Auditors will then move into the Lodge and be responsible for all responsibilities below.
Responsibilities: - Post guest and master account charges into computer.
- Provides accurate and timely summaries of daily revenues and expenses from entire location.
- Assists in ensuring strict adherence to all accounting policies and procedure by all departments performing accounting duties.
- Maintains the confidentiality of information obtained in the accounting office.
- Responds to fire alarms, knowing correct procedures for emergency situations at location.
- Audits Rooms, Food & Beverage, Retail and Sports Revenues.
- Balances all charges back to computer generated totals and investigates any discrepancies and corrects.
- Assists in the preparation of the spread sheets on computer or manually for management.
- Walks to the different outlets to run register reports.
- Explain and provide any promotional items to each guest checking in
- Responds promptly to any guest inquiries or complaints and offer an alternate solution if guest demand cannot be met
- Cover other areas of hotel as needed
- Document any guest accidents by completing the accident report form
- Complete the maintenance log whenever a complaint is reported
- Maintain all areas of the front desk
- Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: - Must be 18 or older
- Must possess basic education at High-School level or equivalent.
- Must have experience with spreadsheets programs (i.e. Excel) and basic accounting knowledge.
- Previous experience with office equipment including: typewriter, adding machine, computer, switchboard, credit card terminal.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Ability to work 3rd shift, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Basic computer knowledge using a Windows environment
- Previous experience with front desk hotel system a plus (Opera, Springer-Miller and the like)
- Previously demonstrated cash handling and/or customer service experience
- Must be a friendly, outgoing "people" person with a good attitude and professionalism
