Essential Job Functions

  1. Thoroughly clean hotel rooms and bathrooms according to department procedures.
  2. Sort, count, fold and/or carry linens for making guest beds.
  3. Stock housekeeping carts with supplies.
  4. Replenish supplies in hotel room and bathroom per hotel procedures.
  5. Dust furniture, wash walls, ceiling and woodwork, wash windows and sills, door panels.
  6. Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to waste disposal area.
  7. Report any problems immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor or Guest Relations Manager.
  8. Ensure any lost and found items are turned in to be logged.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  10. Interact with guests on occasion while cleaning guest room.
  11. Promotes outstanding customer relations
  12. Performs all other duties as assigned


Job Specifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred. Must be able to multi-task and take direction
  • Required to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required

Physical DemandsAble to lift/carry 50 lbs. repeatedly. Frequently walking, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, carrying and climbing
