This role serves as a vital support function within The Fork hospitality team, ensuring seamless guest experiences and efficient administrative operations. Acting as the first point of contact for guests both in-person and over the phone, the position requires professionalism, attentiveness, and strong communication skills to address inquiries and assist with reservations. Additionally, the role provides general administrative support across various departments, managing schedules, documentation, and operational logistics. Working closely with the hospitality team, this individual helps coordinate events, maintain service standards, and contribute to the overall efficiency of The Fork's daily operations.

Hospitality Administrative Coordinator

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:?

Reception
  • Receive and direct incoming telephone calls
  • Receive all guests - vendors, Fork customers, inspectors, etc.
  • Answer general customer service inquiries including general phone and online ordering support
  • Process phone orders, create sales orders and PayPal invoices, communicate with orders desk
  • Respond to inquiries from vendors, employees, and others, when necessary, and/or refer to the appropriate person
  • Assist guests with the use of department facilities
  • Prepare daily coffee service
  • Backup for beverage/snack service for meetings and vendor guests
  • Receive deliveries and direct to appropriate destinations
  • Manage transfers between office locations
Administrative Assistance
  • Maintain various calendars
  • Operate and troubleshoot office machines (including phone and network systems), schedule and oversee maintenance calls
  • Support Sales, Marketing and Accounting teams, as needed
  • Cheese inventory management
  • Manage Donations' Desk (all inquiries, requests & fulfillment)
The Fork
  • Create and reconcile daily sales reports
  • Event menu design and execution
  • Assist with advance preparation of cheese tastings and events
  • Front of House Hospitality & Virtual Tasting support
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Offsite consumer event support, as needed

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in an office environment, with occasional offsite requests. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Salary Description

$26-$30 per hour
