Hospitalist Physician

Virginia, Minnesota, Nocturnist Job

•  Physician-led organization
•  Shifts are one week on - two weeks off; 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
•  ICU coverage; including ventilator management
•  Nocturnists provide cross cover, code and rapid response, and admissions
•  Provide tele-hospitalist coverage, including admissions, for other hospitals
•  Opportunities to participate in hospital-based research, quality, and clinical initiatives
•  Friendly, collegial environment with 1 physician and 1 Advanced Practice Provider on day shifts
•  Full laboratory; radiology to include MRI and CT services
•  Procedures not required
•  30-bed hospital, Level IV Trauma Center, and certified Stroke Ready facility
•  On-campus multi-specialty clinic includes: Primary Care with Integrated Behavioral Health, Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Occupational Medicine, Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, Orthopedics, Consultative Pediatrics, General Surgery, and numerous visiting specialties
•  Close collaboration with the specialists and hospitalists
•  EPIC as EMR that is integrated with the entire Essentia system

•  BC/BE in Internal Medicine
•  BC/BE in Family Medicine with strong interest and experience in hospital-based care (opportunity for mentorship)
