Hospitalist Physician

Coverage Needed:

• June 4, 2025 - ongoing
• Schedule: Night shifts, 7 PM - 7 AM
• Availability: Must be able to work stretches and at least 5-7 shifts a month
• Specific Dates:
  • June 4-12, 20-23
  • July 1-7, 15, 19-22, 29-31
  • August 1-10, 13-25, 27-31

Clinical Details:

• Procedures: Yes, including EKG Reading
• Call: All doctors share call for all patients in the hospital
• EMR: EPIC
• Support Staff: Responsible for APP supervision
• Number of med/surg beds in hospital: 150
  • 20 ICU beds (Open ICU)
• Average Night Census: 145-160
  • Average Night Admits: 7-15
  • Night admit/census: 8-14 per doctor
    • Two admit, one takes transfers, codes, etc.
• Responsible for running codes: QB first and Team
• Responds with Rapid Response Team: Yes, QB is responsible
• Admits, answers critical calls

Requirements:

• Active NC license
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Open to new graduates
• ACLS Certification
