Hospitalist Physician

Hospitalist Physician sought for Shifts between Lansing and Flint, MI

-100+ Bed Community Hospital located between Flint and Lansing
- Hospital Employed/ or 1099 Locum Tenens Options available
- Compensation depends on W2 vs 1099 Range $200-$220/hr depending on experience, etc.
-Locums/1099 will receive mileage reimbursement, complimentary medical malpractice coverage, and
lodging if needed though local, drive-in candidates are strongly preferred.

Job Details:
- 12 hr Day and Night Shifts Available
- Must be available for a minimum of 14 shifts per month
- Flexible scheduling
- 11-12 patients per day with admissions split among the group
- Must be comfortable with vent management
- Surgeons/Anesthesiologists do most intubations, lines, etc. but desire to do these is welcome though most hospitalists don't do procedures
-7 bed ICU with TeleICU coverage available on nights
-Rounding and cross coverage at night, 6-7 admits at night
-Most night shifts have a scribe

Join a collegial, growing team of Hospitalists and APPs. Candidates should have an Interest in practicing a community hospital environment with limited specialty back-up on-site, and be comfortable with typical hospitalist procedures and willing to perform them if need be. MI Medical License and DEA Required. BE/BC Required. IM or FM trained OK as long as training is inpatient focused.
