This modern healthcare facility features a progressive labor and delivery unit with family-centered couplet care. The hospital includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and provides 24-hour in-house physician coverage, creating an excellent environment for collaborative obstetrical care.
Opportunity:
Board Certified-Board Eligible. This is a full-time OB Hospitalist position offering an excellent balance of challenging clinical work and quality of life in beautiful Southern California.
Job Details:
- Attend deliveries and provide obstetrical care for patients presenting through the ER or in labor
- Evaluate and manage OB patients admitted to the hospital
- Monitor fetal well-being and manage labor progress
- Provide consults for GYN patients (No GYN surgeries required)
- Collaborate closely with community OB/GYNs and neonatologists
- Work within a modern labor and delivery unit featuring family-centered couplet care
- Support a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Cover the Emergency Department for obstetrical concerns
- Participate in a model that provides 24-hour in-house physician coverage
- Full-time schedule consisting of approximately 7-8 shifts per month
