Specialty accepted: Hospitalist (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine)
Start date or shifts: April 25; June 9-12, 18-20; Nov 25-28; Dec 24-28 - 7a-7p shifts only;
Procedures: No procedures; must respond to codes
Requirements: NC license, NC DEA, ACLS (AHA certified), EPIC EMR experience preferred, 1 year inpatient experience preferred
Other: Privileges at a 19-bed critical access hospital; census 12-15; 5-6 admits/day; no ICU; care for admitted patients and evaluate ED patients for admission. Academic health system with excellent clinical infrastructure. Must arrive day before first shift for orientation. Hospital Medicine experience required; must be comfortable interpreting EKGs and ABGs.
