Hospital-employed Hospitalist group seeks additional Internal Medicine residency trained physicians to join a robust, rapidly growing practice. Southeast Health is a 420-bed regional referral center in Dothan, Alabama and it manages its own hospitalist program. The current practice includes more than 30 full-time board-certified Internal Medicine Hospitalist physicians.
The Nocturnists work 12 shifts per month with flexible, individualized scheduling. The shift time is 7 p.m. 7 a.m. Average daily census is 9-10 patients per provider on night shift. Our facility serves a diverse patient population spanning multiple age groups, socio-economic classes, and ethnicities.

PRACTICE HIGHLIGHTS
Provide coverage for unassigned patients who present to ED requiring inpatient care, care for transfers and in- hospital consults
Admit and co-manage with intensivist support adult patients in critical care
12 hour work shifts, 7p-7a
Minimum requirement is 12 shifts/month
