We are seeking a Hospitalist in New York for a locum tenens position at a Hospital. This 133-day assignment is spread across multiple periods from May 20, 2025, to January 3, 2026, covering night shifts from 7 pm to 7 am. The hospitalist will be responsible for managing inpatient care, including ventilator management, with support from on-site specialists during the day and emergency backup at night. The role involves caring for 20-25 patients per day in the MedSurg floor and ICU, handling 2-6 overnight admissions, and collaborating with a team of hospitalists and APPs. This position also offers the potential for extension.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide comprehensive inpatient care during night shifts
• Manage ventilators and other critical care equipment
• Handle overnight admissions (2-6 per shift)
• Collaborate with day shift attending Intensivists and Hospitalists
• Coordinate patient care with on-site Emergency Department for backup
• Manage a patient load of 20-25 per day in MedSurg floor and ICU
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to hospital protocols
• Collaborate with a team of 3 Hospitalists and 2 Hospitalist APPs
• Coordinate with subspecialty support as needed
• Utilize Epic EMR system
