Other Details: The facility which is trauma level 3 is looking for a provider to cover beeper call only. There are an average of 15 patients per shift and 23 beds in the department. Coverage needed for a Hospitalist to work 12-hour night shifts (7pm 7am) with an average inpatient census of 15 and approximately 2 admits per night; provider must be available for calls and within 20 minutes to admit if needed. A one-day onsite orientation is required prior to the first shift. Ten night shifts are needed in June and ten in July, with flexibility to accommodate the physician s availability.
