Palm Health Resources is hiring an experienced Nurse Practitioner with Hospitalist experience.
Candidate must have extensive Inpatient Nurse Practitioner experience to be considered.
Located in Upstate New York near Syracuse, NY.
The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for utilizing training and skills to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a physician in inpatient hospital medicine.
Diagnose, treat and monitor chronic diseases (within protocol guidelines)
Order diagnostic test
Prescribe or recommend medications for prescriptions for medications and treatment (within protocol guidelines)
Provide preventive health screenings and immunizations
Assure charts are completed timely
Make follow up calls to check patient's progress
Qualifications:
Master's degree in nursing
Certified Nurse Practitioner
Licensed in the State of New York
