Hospitalist/Nocturnist Internal Medicine Opening in Kalamazoo
Full-Time Flexible Scheduling Teaching Opportunity
A premier healthcare organization in southwest Michigan is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join its dedicated inpatient services team. This full-time, hospital-employed position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment across two hospitals in Kalamazoo and Battle Creek.
Position Highlights:
Full-time hospitalist position with flexible scheduling
Rotating schedule includes days, nights, and weekends
Coverage at two hospital campuses may be required
Opportunities to round with residents through an academic affiliation with Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine
Participate in quality initiatives, interdisciplinary collaboration, and hospital committees
Qualifications:
MD or DO with completion of a residency in Internal Medicine
Board Certification/Eligibility in Internal Medicine required
Family Medicine physicians may be considered with Board Certification and minimum 2 years of inpatient hospital experience
Active and unrestricted Michigan medical license and DEA
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
