Hospitalist - Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
Position Overview:
As a Hospitalist, you'll work under a physician's supervision in the inpatient and outpatient setting to manage acute and chronic oncology conditions, providing comprehensive care from admission to discharge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage care for patients with hematologic and oncologic malignancies.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
- Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and order therapies.
- Assist in routine diagnostic, therapeutic, and patient care procedures.
- Educate patients on procedures, medications, and self-care.
- Provide symptom management for treatment-related side effects.
- Communicate goals of care and involve physicians in decision-making.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development.
Schedule:
- We offer a Monday - Friday schedule with 3 12s.
- Orientation will be Monday - Friday all week so you must have the availability to do that.
- No call, no weekends, no holidays.
