The Medical Staff and Credentialing Manager will manage the medical staff organization activities including credentialing, privileging, quality improvement activities, and medical staff organization governance. The Manager of Credentialing and Medical Staff will promote close, effective working relationships between physicians and hospital staff, and coordinate medical staff office activities as a liaison between medical staff and hospital administration.

The Manager of Medical Staff and Credentialing will provide leadership, management and operational oversight, working collaboratively with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), The Medical Executive Committee (MEG), and additional medical staff leaders. The Manager of Medical Staff and Credentialing will be accountable for the overall leadership and management of the Medical Staff Administration and Continuing Medical Education.

The Credentialing and Medical Staff Manager will oversee administrative schedules and medical staff meetings, provide guidance to the medical staff officers in complying with provisions of the Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, and regulatory bodies. The Manager of Medical Staff and Credentialing will be responsible for regulatory compliance oversight as it relates to the Medical Staff Organization and proposing creative, feasible and efficient solutions to achieve compliance, and implementing such proposals with continued monitoring to ensure compliance is achieved.
