Job Description:

Hospice Liaison (Oakland County)

This role isn't just about sales-it's about connection. As the face of Elara Caring in the community, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring patients and their loved ones receive the care, support, and guidance they need-right when they need it most.

What You'll Do
  • Be a trusted guide : Educate physicians, hospital teams, discharge planners, and families about the benefits of hospice care.
  • Build bridges : Cultivate meaningful, professional relationships with referral sources who value integrity, trust, and timely communication.
  • Make a difference every day : Help families access compassionate care that brings comfort and peace.
  • Grow with purpose : Expand our reach in the community through thoughtful outreach, events, and collaboration.
  • Partner with heart : Work alongside our Clinical Care Coordinators to ensure seamless transitions into hospice services.
What You'll Need:
  • Education & Experience :
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven sales track record with measurable results
  • Prior experience in healthcare sales, business development, community outreach, post-acute care, or DME sales (preferred)
  • Skills & Knowledge :
  • Understanding of healthcare decision-making processes and referral dynamics
  • Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid and hospice benefits-or a strong willingness to learn
  • Strong problem-solving and consultative selling skills
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence and professionalism when engaging with healthcare stakeholders at all levels

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance
