As a Hospice Director of Sales, here's a big picture view of what you'll do:

  • Lead and execute strategic marketing and growth plans that increase hospice and palliative care census and meet financial targets.

  • Build strong, lasting partnerships with referral sources, facilities (SNFs, ALFs), payors, and community organizations.

  • Manage and mentor a team of business development representatives, setting goals, supporting growth, and evaluating performance.

  • Collaborate with clinical, operations, marketing, and HR leaders to drive aligned and effective community outreach.

  • Utilize CRM systems and market data to track performance, inform strategy, and maintain a competitive edge.

A few must-haves for a Hospice Director of Sales:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, healthcare sales, or business development (hospice or healthcare preferred).

  • 5 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare or healthcare-related field within the last 3 years.

  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage all levels of leadership and referral partners.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, drive results, and build high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
