That's why we make supporting our nurses a continuous priority, with: Personal protective equipment (PPE) that enables you to provide care in a safe manner for yourself and your patients Technology that optimizes the efficiency of communication and record keeping Company-paid ongoing education Transparent earning levels and bonus opportunities Support and assistance from leadership whenever you need it Employee recognition program Company vehicle program Education reimbursement benefit Advancement opportunities Specialized and exclusive clinical programs Comprehensive benefit program Hospice CNA Responsibilities: Provide hands-on personal care Perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing services Assist with ambulation or exercises according to the plan of care Assist with administering medications ordinarily self-administered Record pertinent information pertaining to the client's care and strict adherence to the HHA care plan that is on the client's chart Provide hands-on personal care including: Baths, oral hygiene, shampoos, assisting with/changing bed linens, assisting patients with dressing/undressing, skin care to prevent breakdown, assisting patients with toileting activities, and keeping patient's living area clean and orderly, as appropriate Plan and prepare light meals/snacks according to specific dietary requirements of the client, and if necessary, feed the client Perform range of motion exercises and other simple procedures as an extensional therapy service as ordered (with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency) Hospice CNA Qualifications: CNA certification required High school diploma or equivalent preferred 3-5 years of hospice experience required.
